Solution

Each of our internet service packages comes with a base bandwidth usage allowance. Bandwidth usage is measured on a per month basis and all cycles begin on 1st of each month.

What is data (bandwidth) usage?

Data usage is the amount of data, sometimes referred to as bandwidth, that customers consume when sending, receiving, downloading, or uploading information through their Internet service. This data includes, but is not limited to, images, movies, photos, videos, streaming media, system download updates, application and system updates, and other files. It also includes network and application overhead which are necessary elements to send and receive the traffic to its proper destination.

How can I stay informed of my usage?

Firstly, you can always monitor your current bandwidth usage at My Account > Internet Usage. Here you will see how much of your bandwidth usage you have used in the current month in addition to previous months.

Email Alerts

Secondly, at your convenience, you can opt-in to email alerts. Once you are signed up to receive alerts, we will send you email alerts when you reach certain levels of your monthly allowance.

Note: Please be sure to allow BendBroadband emails to come into your inbox, or check your spam filter as this is the only means we have to communicate with you outside of the website.

What can I do if I keep going over my bandwidth usage allowance?

BendBroadband High speed Internet customers may add 25GB for $10 (available on all packages except Lite) or 50 GB for $20 (excluding bundled Platinum and Lite services). See Table below. If you are interesting in updrading your service or add additional Usage Packs, give us a call at 541-382-5551.
